Title:Asymptotically Safe Dark Matter
View PDFAbstract:We introduce a new paradigm for dark matter interactions according to which the interaction strength is asymptotically safe. In models of this type, the interaction strength is small at low energies but increases at higher energies towards a finite constant value of the coupling. The net effect is to partially offset direct detection constraints without affecting thermal freeze-out at higher energies. High-energy collider and indirect annihilation searches are the primary ways to constrain or discover asymptotically safe dark matter.

arXivLabs: experimental projects with community collaborators
arXivLabs is a framework that allows collaborators to develop and share new arXiv features directly on our website.
Both individuals and organizations that work with arXivLabs have embraced and accepted our values of openness, community, excellence, and user data privacy. arXiv is committed to these values and only works with partners that adhere to them.
