Title:Voltmeter in series?

Abstract:The April, 2018 Challenge, Why so series? shows a circuit, where a voltmeter is connected in series. Indeed, real voltmeters have finite input resistance, therefore one can think that they can be used as conductive components. In addition, they show the voltage difference between their terminals, therefore the current flowing through them can be calculated also. Is it okay? Does it make the voltmeter more universal? How it is related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, which is increasingly important in the modern world? Considering the Technology and Engineering parts of STEM, doesn't it legalize an improper use, and doesn't it generate an undesired attitude? We think it does bear some discussion.
