Title:Quasihyperbolic metric and Möbius transformations

Abstract:In this paper an improved version of quasiinvariance property of the quasihyperbolic metric under Möbius transformation of the unit ball is given, and in a local sense a sharp quasiinvariance property of the quasihyperbolic metric under quasiconformal mappings is proved. Finally we prove several inequalities between the quasihyperbolic metric and other commonly used metrics such as the hyperbolic metric of the unit ball and chordal metric.
