Title:General invariance principle in biology yields different physical laws
View PDFAbstract: A biological law establishes accurate relation between certain characteristics of a self-adjustable live system (SALS). So, it must be invariant to any transformations of all other (extraordinary multiple, complex and ill quantified) SALS variables. For instance, the derived mortality law is invariant to transformation from single cell yeast to humans. Without any assumptions such general invariance principle yields an analytical form of the law, and allows for its comprehensive verification. Invariance to evolutionary time implies biological conservation law. In contrast to physics, it is independent of all but few SALS characteristics, and is generic to SALS. Its verified implications include rapid (compared to life span) and reversible adaptation; disposable mortality and delayed aging.
