Title:Essential Constants in General Relativity
View PDFAbstract: The issue of the essential constants, within the context of General Relativity, is studied in the present short work. A rather commonly accepted definition as well as a conclusive way to pinpoint them from a set of constants in a given metric tensor field, which may or may not be a solution to the Einstein's Field Equations, are given. Although the problem of distinction between essential and spurious constants is classic, no particular progress can be found in the literature so far. It is this gap that the present work comes to fill.
