Title:The magnon peak lineshape in the transverse dynamical structure factor of a magnetically polarized $XXZ$ chain at low temperatures
View PDFAbstract:The low-temperature integral representation for the transverse magnetic susceptibility of a ferromagnetically polarized XXZ spin chain is derived within the Plakida-Tserkovnikov approach. The obtained formula accounts for two kinds of processes, magnon creations and transitions from magnons to coupled magnon pairs. Comparison with the exact result for the Ising model shows that the former one is reproduced with more accuracy. Following this observation, we focus on the cases where both the contributions lie in non-intersecting frequency intervals. Considering only the magnon-creation contribution, we represent it in the form of the Dyson equation. Using the well known correspondence between imaginary part of magnetic susceptibility and dynamical structure factor, we present several different magnon-peak lineshapes.
