Title:CIR equations with multivariate Lévy noise
View PDFAbstract:The paper is devoted to the short rate equations which generate an affine term structure and are driven by a multivariate Lévy process $Z$. Two classes of noise are considered. In the first one the coordinates of $Z$ are independent and with regularly varying Laplace exponents. In the second class $Z$ is a spherical processes, which means that its Lévy measure has a similar structure as that of an $\alpha$-stable process, but with radial part of a general form. A precise form of the short rate generator is characterized. Under mild assumptions it is shown that any equation of the type above has the same solution as the equation driven by the Lévy process with independent stable coordinates.
