Title:A symplectic local discontinuous Galerkin method for stochastic Schrödinger equation
View PDFAbstract:In this paper, we propose a new symplectic local discontinuous Galerkin method to numerically solve stochastic Schrödinger equation with multiplicative noise. The method is based on an implicit midpoint scheme in time and local discontinuous Galerkin method in space. We show that our method preserves stochastic symplectic structure in temporal direction, and preserves the discrete charge conservation law which implies an L^2-stability of our method. We derive the meansquare convergence order in L^2-norm of the proposed method for the stochastic linear Schrödinger equation.
