Title:Source of electronic entanglement using a novel quantum-Hall interferometer
View PDFAbstract: We introduce an interferometric scheme which naturally produces orbital entanglement in a quantum-Hall system upon electron-hole pair emission via tunneling. We discuss the creation of entanglement and its detection by the violation of a Bell inequality. While previous proposals based on electron-hole pairs in quantum-Hall systems require either two propagating channels or two sources, our proposal-- feasible with present technology-- requires a single channel and a single primary source.
